New weblink added-  easy and affordable DNA test for one of the common
bleeding disorders in kerries (Factor XI.) is available by
University of Pennsylvania.
It is OFFICIAL!  Aran finished the show year of 2006 as a #1 kerry male (no. 2
breed) in all-breed competition  and #2 kerry male (no.3 breed) in breed standing.
This was accomplished without backers, ads in show magazines and week-by-week
showing.
"Aran" finished year of 2006 as a Top ranking kerry again- No. 2 and best
male
2x Best in Show- for Aran @ Great Western Terrier Association, followed by
World Dog Show Champion became son of Multi Champion Aran Donaghmore-
Ch. Blue Joi Williams, under Irish judge, Mr. Sean Delmar! This is 2nd win of Aran related kerry. Last
year BOS and title of World Winner went to my Aran's sister-Ch. Aran Finnea.

Just like last year we have a lots to celebrate!

NEW CHAMPION!  Blake Hansen and Aran's daughter TopGun Every Reason To Be
Jealous  finished in style by going WINNERS BITCH for 4 point major at
MONTGOMERY county KC show under Mrs. M. Kipp.
Tahoe, Mickie's sister, was 1st in Open class & awarded reserve Winners Bitch first
day (October 3rd) at Hatboro KC show.  Mickie Blue took 2nd in Open class that day.
The next day, Tahoe placed 1st in Open class again and her brother "Ringo" made
cut in the BOB ring.
Aran's son Brodi was shown in Bred By Exhibitor class and went 2x reserve Winners
Dog at Hatboro show and MONTGOMERY CKC show. Congrats, Judy!
Beautiful "Mudpie", due to previous Youlia's obligations, was shown only on
Saturday at DEVON Dog Show Association show and went WINNERS BITCH from
BBE class for 2 points. Congratulations, Youlia!
"Mickie" at the same show took 1st in Open Class.
Echo took Award of Merit on Friday at Hatboro KC show and also made cut at Devon
and Montgomery shows.

               SEPTEMBER 2008

Hearty congratulation to Blake Hansen and Aran's daughter TopGun Every Reason
To Be Jealous for winning Best of Breed from Open class over specials and for two
times  4 point major at Atlanta Terrier Specialty ( Mrs. Barbara Keenan) and Newnan
KC ( Mr. Fred Ferris)
The next day, at the Douglasville KC of Georgia, her sister, TopGun Thunderous Blue
Rage won Winners bitch and Best of Winners handled by her owner Jim Cox (judge
Steven Hubell)! "Tahoe" added more points towards her championship by repeating
this success the next day at Atlanta KC show!
Another Aran's daughter, Ch. Lisiji Queen of Hearts won BOS at Douglasville KC,
followed by another BOS the next day at Atlanta KC under Mr. Dennis McCoy!
Group 3, BBE- KeriOn Noble Spirit, handled by breeder Judy Agnew at Atlanta
Terrier Specialty and Winners Dog at Newnan KC. Congratulations!!!

                   AUGUST 2008

This is a great month for ECHO- taking 3x Best of Breed at Elm City KC (Mrs.P.
Trotter), Newton KC (Irish judge Mr. Vincent O'Brien) and Great Barrington KC (Mr. H.
Meisels), who also awarded him Group 4 at the same show!

ALL TERRIER Club of Western Washington held their annual specialty in Marymoor
Park, Redmond, WA.
Leeloo's fractured her hind leg toe just few days before the show and is in the splint for
approximately 6 weeks.
ROWAN took Best of Breed all 3 days, including all-breed Sammamish KC show

Rubi enjoyed the company of other kerries and took reserve Winners Bitch under Mr.
P. Freilich

specialty under Wyoma Clouss, repeating her daddy Aran's success from 2006! (new

Beau is going strong with another Group award, this time Group 3 by Mrs. Carmen
Haller at Glacier View KC
ECHO 's  daughter Basha (aka Australia CH. ARISTOCRAT Bittersweet Symphony)
won her first BEST IN SHOW.  Basha has a strong winning recording, including
multiple group placements and Junior BIS. Congratulations!!!
Ch. Topgun Great Balls of Fire-  "Smokey" finished the Rally Novice with a wonderful
score of  91/92/96.

MARCH 2008

HAPPY 7th BIRTHDAY- ARAN!
The obedience competition update:
"Smokey"- aka Ch. Topgun Great Balls of Fire, CGC- competed at his first Rally Trial at
the Nashville Obedience Dog Training Club Day. He did GREAT- first in class, score of
91/100 and FIRST leg towards his Rally Novice title! "Smokey" is 3rd of Aran kids
competing in Rally. Congratulations!!!
"DORA"- Aran's daughter from Pennterra kennel completed her Rally Advanced title
with score of 92 points! Dora is also 1 point shy of her American Championship, with
all points from Bred by Exhibitor class! Congratulations to owner/breeder, artist Youlia
Anderson.

NEW CHAMPIONS-  "Three times a charm" one would say... and it proves to be truth
for Aran's kids:
"Ringo"- Congratulation to owner handler Eddie for finishing young Ch. Topgun
Ragin' Ring of BlueAire
"Smokey"- Another owner handled puppy became Ch. Topgun Great Balls of Fire.
Smokey, just like his daddy Aran, is also Canine Good Citizen and passed first step
herding instinct test (Feb08)
And on the Westcoast, brother of very successful  "Beau"- "Klancy", finished his AKC
Championship and became Ch. Warlord's Komical Klancy. Congrats, Gail!

HEALTH updates:
Aran tested clear for Brucella and Leptospirosis and sperm was frozen for future use.
Aran's DNA testing for factor XI. is also on the way to OFA for registration.
Echo passed OFA thyroid with "Normal" results.
"Aengus"-son of Multichampions Aran Enniskeen and Aran Feeny, Winners Dog
from recent Mongomery show is passing his health tests with flying colors! Aengus
passed OFA hips as "good", OFA patellas as "normal" and vWd as "clear". Thank you
Diane for a great care for our boys.  
It is pleasure to know that also Aristocrat kennel does NOT use or offer for stud untested
dogs!
Also Aran's son Ringo already tested for both blood clotting disorders and passed as
"clear"- vWd disease & Factor XI. PennHip results for hip dysplasia are also great!.

NEWS in Agility: Duvessa "Kelsey" completed two more titles - MXJ (Master
Jumpers) and NF (Novice Fast). Congratulations, Eric we are very proud of you!
Rose City Classic- Portland, OR: 5 shows- Terrier Association of Oregon (Thursday-
Linda More), Dog Fanciers Association of Oregon (Friday- D. Murphy, Saturday-R.
Hartinger), Tualatin KC ( Sunday- P.Green, Monday- Mr.L. Haverstock )
ECHO - went Best of Breed under Mr. R. Hartinger and MADE CUT in group under Mr.
P. Green. This will be the 4th Animal Planet presentation featuring one of our kerries
at Cross the Rubicon! The show is aired in April!
Leeloo- went  4x Winners Bitch, 3x Best of Winners and 2x Best of Opposite Sex (Mr.
Hartinger, Mr. Green)
Beau- went Best of Opposite Sex on Thursday, Friday&Monday
Rowan- was shown only on Sunday and went Winners Dog

Aran's daughter  creates truly Every Reason To Be Jealous! 13 month old "Mickie
Blue"  (TopGun's Every Reason To Be Jealous) went Best of Breed twice and placed
3rd in Terrier Group at Greater Miami Dog Club in Florida. Mickie is handled by her
owner, junior handler Blake Hansen.
